White Works comprises a series of works that are based upon the raw
material for painting excluding paint. The work undertakes an investigation
into the preconditions for painting, reconfiguring it in simple ways, creating
subtle mataphors relating to the object of art in both meanings of the word.
Lightness, emptiness and subtraction are here put forward as key aspects in
dealing with the art object as a vessel for thought.
